The facilities of the Big Walnut Country Club as well as the members themselves played important roles in the civic groups, service organizations, and political landscape of the first half of the 20th century.
The club's LEADERSHIP, especially founder Nimrod B. Allen, were leaders and founding members of local and national organizations.
